Who can enter?

Eligibility Criteria, Submission & General Guidelines.

What does the entry process look like?

It’s simple – select your preferred categories then visit our Enter Now page to gain access to your official online entry form.

Submit it before the deadline and wait to see if your initiatives have made it to the awards finals. Successfully shortlisted finalists can then begin preparing their presentations.

What is the entry fee?
If you wish to apply more than 5 categories you will deserve a discount contact (info@gepshield.uk) for more information.
Is there a fee to attend the finals?

For the best finalist experience, it is recommended to attendance to the event – but this is not mandatory. However, there is small fee for  tickets.

How many categories can we enter?

As many as you wish! You can also submit the same entry in more than one category if it is relevant. Visit the categories page For Organizations OR categories page For Individuals / Teams to make your choices.

Where can we find additional information on entering?

How and where do we submit the entry form?

The entry form should be submitted online through our on online portal by the entry deadline on ( 20/08/2023 ). Make sure you save it as you finish each section and only click the ‘submit’ button when it is fully complete.

Who are the judges?

Every category is assessed by independent business professionals who apply to judge with us. We also appoint a Chair of Judges in each category to ensure all presentations proceed in a timely manner. You will receive their comments on your written entry and live presentation in a bespoke feedback report.

When will the Finalists be announced?

Finalists will be revealed in 25-08-2023

Will we be promoted as Finalists?

Yes, all finalists will receive a Government Excellence Pioneers Shield Award finalist logo for use on social media and your website. Once finalists are announced we send emails to our extensive contacts list and promote all finalists on social media.

Where and when will the Awards Finals take place?

The Government Excellence Pioneers Shield Award final will take place on The Standard, London

What happens after the Finals?

As soon as the winners are announced during the live finals, we announce them on social media and send emails with a full list of winners. Interviews filmed at the finals will be all over our social media months after the event. Regardless of the results, you will receive a free judges’ feedback report about 2 weeks after the finals. You will also receive a survey – we’d love to hear your comments!

Which language will be accepted?

Entries must be written in English.

Do we get a certificate if we are finalists?

Yes every winner will take a certificate and trophy. The certificate has a unique QR code that leads to the Category Winners page.

Is there a dress code for the finals?

There is no strict dress code. Smart/casual business wear is suggested.

What you get for applying?

Winners will receive:

  • Will receive a framed certificate . (for all categories)
  • Will receive a trophy . (for all categories)
  • Will receive a digital logo on website for a period of 12 months (for Institutional categories
